The Outstanding Young Person Award Night
In collaboration with HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c., KPMG Malta and the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise, JCI Malta will be holding the awards night of this year's edition on Sunday 30th November 2008. The event will be held at The Grand Ballroom, The Radisson SAS Baypoint Resort, St Julians at 20.00hrs.

JCI Malta - 100% Efficient
JCI Malta has been recognised 
“for fulfilling the overall management quality standards stated in the JCI National Organisation 100% Efficiency Program”. The official recognition was presented by Graham Hanlon, 2008 JCI President to Chris Mallia, 2008 JCI Malta National President, during the JCI World Congress, held in New Delhi, India, between the 4th and 9th November 2008.

National Convention
The JCI Malta National Board of Directors for 2009 was appointed during the National Convention recently held at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana. The board will call to office from 1st January 2009 under the responsibility of the newly elected National President, Maria Zahra.

Best Business Plan Competition Awards Night
Mr Chris Grech has won this year’s edition of the Best Business Plan Competition, organised by JCI Malta with his plan “Offering typical Maltese Snacks and Dishes” and walked off with the grand prize of € 2,500.

JCI Malta launches The Outstanding Young Person (TOYP) Award 2008
There are young people in Malta that excel in their professions, strive to develop the community, gain achievements in
the cultural field, or are role models for their peers. Many of these people, however, often go unnoticed. It is for this reason that Junior Chamber International Malta (JCI Malta) once again will be formally recognising those who excel in their chosen fields and exemplify the best attributes of Malta’s young people.
