JCI Malta Subsidises Registration Fee on JCI International Events for its members

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malta will be subsidising registration fees for its members on International JCI Events. In order to encourage members to attend international events, subsidies ranging between 25% and 75% will be forfeited by JCI Malta up to a fixed budget. JCI Malta will be utilising surplus funds generated from local events in previous years, to provide the opportunity for the Individual Member to attend an international event. Members will benefit from a subsidy depending on the level of activity within the organisation, the more active a member, the higher percentage s/he will benefit.   JCI Malta provides the means for its members to maximize their potential by exploiting their individual qualities.

JCI Malta Subsidies on JCI International Events registration fees shall be granted to the following category of applicants as follows:

- 2009 JCI Malta National Board Members – up to 75% of registration fees.
- 2008 and 2007 JCI Malta National Board Members – up to 75% of registration fees.
- JCI Malta Sub-committee paid-up members – up to 50% of registration fees.
- JCI Malta paid-up members (non active) –
- Membership for more than 2 yrs – up to 35% of registration fees.
- Membership for less than 2 yrs – up to 25% of registration fees.

JCI congresses gather all the JCI National Organisations for a variety of seminars, training events and keynote speeches.  Each year, around 5,000 delegates meet in a different country, not only for the activities mentioned earlier, but also to have the opportunity to network with fellow Jaycees as well as enjoy the cultures of the cities in which these congresses are held. These events motivate and inspire involvement and participation and give the opportunity to young people to expand their horizons on an international level.

In this current economic crisis JCI Malta will invest in its members by giving them the opportunity to travel, meet other members, learn new skills, generate change and help improve themselves and their communities. JCI Malta opens the door to its members onto a world of young people who are enthusiastic and dynamic as well as potential friends and business partners.
