The 5th edition of the Debate Society League is upon us and we couldn’t be more excited.

The competition which is specifically targeting University students is seeking out teams of 3, that want to get a shot at becoming this year’s Debate Society League champions, by competing against each other in a friendly league of diplomatic debates, held during the months of March and April.

The league which is being organised by Junior Chamber International Malta (JCI Malta), in collaboration with the University of Malta Debating Union (MUDU), will start off with a training session held on the 10th March, in which participants will have the perfect opportunity to acquire and exercise debating skills prior to the competition.

The debating sessions shall then be taking place on Saturdays, commencing toward the end of March and continuing throughout April. The debating schedule will be distributed to the teams after application period closes.

Each team is to be made out of 3 University of Malta students, with a participation fee of €10 per team. The applications will be received on a first come first served basis.

The winner’s legacy will live on for years to come. How? the winning team’s name shall be engraved on our Debate Society League Champions Shield!
