JCI is glad to announce the 2019 National Public Speaking Competition, which will take place between Friday 29 and Sunday 31 March. This year the winning participant for the 21 years and over category will represent Malta in Lyon, France, with flights and accommodation fully covered.
Participants take part in two stages: in the semi-finals, they will prepare and give a speech of 3 minutes on the theme ‘Nature is a common language’. In the final, contestants give their speech once more and also have the opportunity to speak impromptu, an essential skill in the world today.
