Voting Rights & Active Citizenship Talks

Leading up to the MEP Elections, JCI Malta will be visiting a number of Secondary Schools in order to educate 5th Form students on their voting rights, what they need to know about the upcoming elections, as well as how important it is to be an active citizen in today’s world.

This initiative is one of the variety of initiatives being taken as part of the project Step Up for Europe – Make it Count! The project being run by JCI Malta is aimed at educating the general public, more specifically first time voters about all they need to know when it comes to voting for the upcoming elections, in an impartial manner.

The confirmed school visits are the following:

  • St Joseph’s School, Sliema – 12.03.2019
  • Our Lady Immaculate School, Ħamrun – 13.03.2019
  • Verdala International School, Pembroke – Date TBC
  • St Augustine College, Pieta – 25.03.2019
  • Savio College, Dingli – 27.03.2019
  • St Jeanne Antide College, Gudja – 2.04.2019
  • The Archbishop’s Seminary, Rabat – 10.04.2019
